3. How fast can I schedule someone to come out and give me a quote?

We do our best to get estimates out as soon as possible. For estimates that don’t require an in-person meeting, we make every effort to send them to you within 2-4 business days. However, during peak seasons, landscape design consultations may experience a backlog, causing a delay of 1-3 weeks. If you have any concerns or specific timeline requirements, please don’t hesitate to contact our office. We are here to address your needs and ensure a smooth and timely process for all our services. Your satisfaction is our priority.

4. What payment options do I have?

We accept all major debit/credit cards. We require a card on file for service.

5. How far are you booked out?

Currently, our schedule for large landscaping projects is booked approximately 2-4 weeks in advance. However, for smaller landscaping projects, there may be availability to fit you in sooner. If you require lawn mowing or fertilization services, we can accommodate you with just one week’s notice. We understand the importance of timely service and will do our best to accommodate your specific needs. Don’t hesitate to contact us, and we’ll work together to find the best solution for your landscaping requirements.

6. Are you licensed and insured?

Yes! We have a $1,000,000 general liability policy.

1. Do you require a deposit?

Yes, we require a deposit on all landscaping jobs. We require a 50% deposit to be placed on our schedule.

2. Is there a consultation or design fee?

Yes, we charge a minimum $125 consultation/design fee. Click here to see the various price options for our landscape design packages.

3. Do I need a design or consultation? Why should I pay for one when other companies will give me a design for free?

At our company, we prioritize the long-term success of your landscape, which is why we require a design consultation for all plant installations. This meticulous process ensures that your landscape is thoughtfully planned and tailored to the specific area. We take various factors into consideration, including sun and shade conditions, plant size at maturity, color and texture, deer resistance, pest and disease resistance, and more. This detailed approach is time-consuming but crucial for the longevity and beauty of your landscape.

It’s essential to recognize that not all “landscape designers” are equal. There are individuals who offer free designs but lack the necessary expertise in landscape design. Our knowledgeable team of designers is educated and experienced, making a significant difference in the outcome of your landscape project. We’ve seen unfortunate instances where poorly planned landscapes result in shrubs growing into vital equipment like heat pumps.

We firmly believe that the design phase is the most crucial aspect of changing your landscape. It sets the foundation for the entire project, and the expertise of our designers ensures a successful and sustainable outcome. 4. If I already have a landscape design plan from another company, can you install it? Do I still need a consultation?

We’re happy to review any landscape design plans you may have. We still require a $125 fee for us to come measure the property and ensure the design is viable as far as sun/shade concerns, size at maturity, etc. This fee would be credited to your project should you choose to hire us. We look forward to collaborating with you to bring your vision to life and create a beautiful and thriving landscape for your outdoor space.

5. Do I get to keep my design?

Absolutely! We value our clients and their investment in our design services. If you opt for and purchase a hand-drawn sketch or a 3D rendering of your landscape design, we will provide you with a copy to keep. You will receive your copy conveniently via email, ensuring you have easy access to your design.

6. Do you schedule design consultations in the evenings or on weekends?

Typically, we do not. If you’d like to schedule an appointment outside of our normal business hours, there is an additional $125 non-refundable fee added to your chosen design package fee (fee will not be credited towards project).

7. How soon should I expect to receive a proposal and/or design after my consultation?

At de la Rosa Landscaping, we understand the importance of timely service and are dedicated to providing you with estimates as quickly as possible. Please know that we are committed to efficiency while ensuring the highest quality in our design process. On average, our design team takes 4-5 business days (Monday-Friday) to meticulously craft and deliver your design and estimate.

Lawn Maintenance FAQ

Pricing and Billing Terms

It is our goal to provide you with the best lawn service but also the easiest account management possible. For this reason, we require that an account is set up with a debit or credit card on file for billing purposes. We will charge your credit card after each service has been completed.

If you’ve got a question, the answer may be here. Take a quick look, and if you don’t find the answer, please contact us. We’ll contact you back in 24 hours or less.

1. Do you offer one-time mowing services?

We do not offer one-time mowing services. We only provide services on a weekly or biweekly basis.

2. I like my lawn mowed on Thursday morning’s. Can I choose my service day or time of day?

While we do everything we can to accommodate customer requests, we do not offer a choice for day or time of service. We have established mowing routes on certain days in your area that we will add you to. The time of day we mow your lawn will depend on where you fall on our route for that day.

3. How early do you begin mowing?

We begin mowing after 8:00 am.

 

4. Will you mow my lawn the same day each week?

Yes, if you are on our Monday route, we will mow you every Monday. If weather has us delayed, we may come 1-3 days later to allow your lawn to dry. If your day (permanently) changes for any reason, we will notify you of the change.

5. Are you open on the weekends?

No, we do not do any work on the weekends.

6. Do you bag when mowing?

We do not offer bagging for mowing service. All clippings are mulched and returned back into your lawn. The grass clippings will break down and release beneficial nutrients back into the soil.

7. What happens if it rains on my service day?

If we ever get delayed due to rain, we will get to you as soon as possible. Rain can delay us 1-3+ days. Remember, if we missed mowing yours, we likely missed mowing quite a few others. Thank you for your patience.

8. How often do you bill?

We bill each service after each service is complete, and require a credit card on file. We will charge your card after service is complete, and you will automatically receive a receipt via email.

9. If I have a concern with my service, how do I let you know?

We will return all phone calls as soon as possible.

10. Does someone need to be home when you mow?

No, no one needs to be home. Please leave any gates unlocked, so we can access all areas that need to be mowed.

11. What If I am not happy with a service?

If you are not completely satisfied with a service performed on your property, please let us know right away.

Depending on the need we will:

1. Send a supervisor out to have a look and fix the issue.

2. Send the crew back to fix the issue.

3. Set up a meeting with a supervisor to get the issue resolved.

4. Correct the issue on the next scheduled visit.

5. Schedule a supervisor to meet the crew at your property to correct the issue.

12. Service Issues

At de la Rosa Landscaping, your satisfaction is our top priority, and we are committed to delivering exceptional service with every project. While we do not offer refunds or credits, we stand behind our work and are happy to address any reasonable service issues promptly.

If you encounter any concerns or issues with the service provided, we kindly ask that you contact us within 24 hours of the service completion. In such cases, we will promptly send our crew back to address and correct the matter at no additional charge. We want to ensure that your landscape meets your expectations and provides you with the utmost satisfaction.

For any concerns raised after the 24-hour window, we will still be attentive to your feedback. Our team will work closely with our crew to ensure any identified issues are effectively addressed during your next scheduled service.

13. Yard Access

We kindly request that your gate remains unlocked for the entirety of the day on your regularly scheduled service day. This allows our dedicated crews to access and service your lawn efficiently and without delay.

Unfortunately, we are unable to send our crews back or provide any credit for areas that are inaccessible due to locked fences. Ensuring access to all areas of your property is essential to delivering our services as intended and maintaining the highest standards of quality.

Your cooperation in keeping the gate unlocked is greatly appreciated, as it allows us to provide you with the exceptional lawn care services you deserve. We value your trust in our team and look forward to continuing to beautify and maintain your outdoor space with professionalism and dedication.

14. Pets/Yard Debris

The safety of your beloved pets, our crew, and our equipment is of utmost importance to us. While our crews will make every effort to close gates securely, we cannot guarantee that your pet will not escape from your yard during our service.

To ensure the well-being of your furry companions and prevent any potential accidents, we kindly request that you keep your pets inside your home on your scheduled service days. Additionally, we ask that you take the following precautions to create a safe working environment:

Please pick up all pet droppings, toys, large bones, large rocks, and any other objects from your yard the day before we mow. These items can pose hazards to our workers and may cause serious damage to your property, our equipment, or our crew if hit by a lawn mower.

By working together and adhering to these safety measures, we can maintain a secure and efficient working environment, allowing us to provide you with the best possible lawn care service. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in keeping everyone safe during our visits.
